Design Chat with David Yarde — March 13th
In the early stages of creating African American Graphic Designers, we came across the inspirational words of Mr. David Yarde and his wife Angelica Yarde (the Heart and Hustle Podcast). Together, they spend their time wrapped up in their family and running Sevenality a boutique firm that specializes in human connection through design.
We caught up with the Creative Dark Knight by sending out the bat signal for content creators with a passion for helping our community.
After our obvious realization of alignment, I knew he would be the perfect person to interview next. Well, that and he was available. Actually, he was one of the first people I put on the vision board to be a mentor for our group.
While Mr. Yarde is a public speaker and writer, he is also a Creative Director and Brand Strategist focused on building better communities by building better brands.
We’ll start with the standard 5 and in the talk, we’ll cover:
- Minimum Lovable Brands
- The Discovery Process
- Using Agile in the Design Process
